Michelle Andrea Chalmers has represnted Team GB on no less that 3 ocasions and all before her 16th birthday. She left school in 2006 to set up her own livery and horse development yard and has succesfully filled it. A small, friendly, exclusive premises where the number one goal is the happiness and succes of her horses.

She has spent the winter of 2008 gaining her teaching certificates from UKCC and BHS, and has brought on her livery clients to be confident enough to compete at British Eventing Affiliated Classes.

Her main passion is the starting and schooling of young or problem horses using Natural Horsemanship. Having worked on several horses on behalf of clients, as well as all of her own, her reputation for turning out a confident, manerly horse, who actually enjoys their work, is growing.

Her personal competeing success has come in the world of eventing, where horse and rider perform a dressage test, followed by showjumping then cross country all in one day. Her highest acheivments came in 2005 when she was a member of the Gold Medal winning team at Necarne, Co. Fermanagh. Then in 2006 she was part if the European Squad of 5 that competed in Saumur, France. She was the only rider from Scotland to make the finals each year.

She has made the transition from ponies to horses and is aiming for Blair Castle International Horse Trials in August 2009, with her mare Bandoshea.
Michelle has a few places left for 2009 for horses the are in need of a refresher course in manners and schooling, or for youngsters who need abit of time and experience for the first time someone sits on their back.

She can also take horses in for event preparation, or if you are wanting to sell your horse, Michelle can do all the work on your behalf and hopefully match the right person with the right horse.
